Fashionscape

NOTE:  This blog post explains the inspiration for this page, Fashionscape.

Fashionscape ~ aka local structures to enhance knitting.  Such obvious structures as city museums and bodies of water, as well as simple ‘landmarks’ that have personal meaning such as schools, local libraries, and significant streets/homes serve perfectly as fashionscape locations.  We, hubby and I made every effort to match the texture or color or style of the hand knit with some aspect of these structures and headed in that direction to bring personal knitting online.

Our efforts have been recognized as feature photos of well-known designer knitting patterns as well as recognition here, VK, Spring 2014.

I am forever indebted to the effort of Lynn Olmstead, whose patience and kindness was never taken for granted and who was willing to explore this idea with me.  With his keen eye, these photos have served their purpose as intended but now serve as a wonderful keepsake of the journey we took together.

    • I’ve been wanting to put this together for some time, but organizing this in knowing how to best suit my need, was tricky. And, to make it easy to continue. And, for the viewer to understand. Thank you for stopping by.
